RiverTied — Privacy Notice (effective October 25, 2026). This notice describes how RiverTied handles information submitted through rivertied.com, its Wix-hosted store and community features. Contact RiverTied with privacy questions or requests at https://www.rivertied.com/contact.html.

Information collected: when you shop, inquire, sign up, or create a RiverTied account, we may collect your name, email, telephone number if provided, billing/delivery details, order items, fly sizes and quantities, payment status, and correspondence. Anglers may choose to provide a profile name, photo, general region and fishing interests, mentoring preferences, catch photos, ratings or comments. The site and its hosting providers may process technical data such as browser and device details, IP addresses, security logs and cookie identifiers.

Use: RiverTied uses information to operate accounts, display approved community contributions, process and fulfill orders, calculate or report applicable tax, address defects or returns, provide customer support and requested introductions, secure the website, improve services and send promotional messages only where you have requested or consented to them. Required transactional messages may be sent independently of marketing opt-ins.

Sharing: information may be processed by our website, ecommerce, identity, hosting and media provider Wix; our selected payment provider including PayPal when chosen at checkout; carriers and fulfillment partners needed to ship orders; and analytics, email, fraud/security or professional advisers where engaged and appropriately authorized. Payment credentials are entered through the secure payment provider, not through general RiverTied contact forms. We may disclose information when legally required.

Community controls: fly reviews, catch photos, mentor inquiries and angler profiles may require a member account and administrator approval. Private submissions and applicant contact details are not intended for public display. Approved submissions can display the profile name or photo you choose to publish. Opt-in angler discovery is available only under the site's profile visibility settings; other approved anglers may see information you elect to share. A photo-use consent accompanying a catch submission may grant additional publication permissions subject to law.

Retention and security: RiverTied and its providers retain information as reasonably necessary to manage accounts, orders, tax/bookkeeping, requests, moderation and legal duties. Reasonable security controls are used, but no online service guarantees absolute security. You may request access, correction, removal of eligible content, or other applicable rights using the contact form; some order and compliance records must be retained by law. Marketing email recipients can use the unsubscribe instructions.

Cookies and third parties: essential cookies support sign-in, cart and fraud prevention. Site services may use measurement or other cookies; availability of cookie choices depends on applicable law and deployed provider settings. Third-party payment and shipping services operate under their own applicable privacy notices. Please avoid entering passwords, full payment-card details, health data, or sensitive personal information in public reviews, forms or profiles.
