To require approval for all new registrants, open Member Signup Settings ↗, choose Only people I manually approve, and save. This setting has not been verified automatically.
Security: this page contains no private angler data, administrative credentials, or direct approval endpoints. Management links require your separately authenticated site-owner access. This workflow is deliberately absent from public navigation and search listings.

Open RiverTied — Angler Profiles (Private). Check the display name, photo, bio, waters, styles, and requested visibility before approving a copy for sharing.

In CMS, copy the candidate’s values from RiverTied — Angler Connections (Opt-in), inspect them, then create a decision record in RiverTied — Approved Angler Connection Listings (Admin). Approval copies the reviewed profile details into an admin-owned snapshot. Editing or withdrawing the candidate invalidates that approval until you review the new version.
Decision record
Review the generated fields, copy them, and enter them as a new CMS record. Preparing a record does not approve the member. The decision takes effect only after an owner saves it in the secure dashboard.
Required CMS fields: listingId, memberId, approvedSavedAt, approvalStatus, and the reviewed profile fields for an approval. Copy exact values; the directory will not display incomplete or unmatched records. Rejections use REJECTED.
Publishing and consent rules
Member-only profile sharing
Only approve requested audiences. Separately approved public profile copies are not the same as Angler Connections. Keep public and members-only records separate, and remove listings when an angler withdraws consent.
Mentoring credibility
Verify mentor credentials or experience before enabling a verified badge. Do not treat a checked mentoring-interest box as approval.
Private introductions
Review the request and check recipient consent before putting anglers in contact. Member contact information is never included in directory results.
